Footprints Across Solo
In this section, you'll find snapshots of my short but unforgettable adventures during my stay in Indonesia. From exploring the vibrant streets of Solo to discovering hidden cultural gems and savoring local flavors, these moments added color and depth to my teaching journey. This collection captures the joy, curiosity, and wonder I experienced while immersing myself in the beauty of Indonesia.

Solo, also known as Surakarta, is a charming city in Central Java famous for its rich Javanese traditions, royal heritage, and warm hospitality. Often referred to as the twin city of Yogyakarta, Solo is home to two royal palaces: the Keraton Surakarta and the Mangkunegaran Palace. The city is well-known for its vibrant batik art, traditional markets such as Pasar Klewer, and cultural performances including wayang (shadow puppetry) and gamelan music. Despite its modern development, Solo maintains a calm and cultural atmosphere that reflects the grace and gentleness of Javanese life.
